TRAVEL BLOG THURSDAY - SAN FRANCISCO - PART 2

THIS TIME I WENT WITH FRIEND TO EAT || SAN FRANCISCO || CALIFORNIA || USA || January 2018

Honestly can’t remember every single detail of the trip. I just remember it being for one of my good friend’s birthday and it being a ton of fun. So this will be another “here’s what I recommend” blog but more food… fun right?! Everything was delicious so I’ll just say that up front.

We stayed at an AirBnB and had breakfast at Mama’s on Washington Square. There is generally a strong correlation between the length of the line and the tastiness of the food. Ha!

This is the “we finna eat” smile!

Then we took a walk through Chinatown.

We checked out The Wok Shop.

We took a field trip to the Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory.

We grabbed some coffee at Bluestone Lane Coffee. I do randomly remember there were playing an Anderson .Paak song that I liked while we were here.

We visited one of the Heart Statues in San Francisco.

We got ice cream from Humphry Slocombe at the Ferry Building Marketplace.

We met up with another friend for the official birthday dinner at Chez Panisse.

The next morning we stopped for a quick breakfast before the brunch. Ha! We ate at Tartine Bakery.

Brunch was at NOPA.

We walked some of the food off and stepped into this cool shop (Kira San Francisco) to browse.

We took a break at Golden Gate Park.

And right before heading to the airport, we went to get one of the best slices of pizza I’ve ever had from Arizmendi Bakery.

It was a Yukon gold potato, basil sunflower seed pesto pizza and it was so garlicky and wonderful that I tried to recreate it at home. Here’s the recipe: Garlic Pesto Pizza, Pesto, Pizza Dough

It was a lot of fun going with friends. Check out the solo San Francisco Trip I took in 2017 for more ideas of what to do while you visit!

Thanks for reading all these words!

Love ya!
