Ageg-arlic Bread

Do you see the play on words?! Its Agege bread made into a buttery, slightly sweet, herby garlic bread!

Yield: 4-6 servings

PREP IT! 

  • 6 slices Agege bread

  • 4 tablespoons Roasted garlic, mashed

  • 4 tablespoons Butter, salted, softened

  • 1 teaspoon Taste Tutor Seasoning 101

  • 1 bunch Basil, julienned

  • ¼ cup Shredded cheese, optional (I used a blend of pecorino Romano, Parmigiano Reggiano, and gruyere)

MAKE IT!

  1. Preheat the oven to 425F.

  2. Stir together mashed roasted garlic and softened butter.

  3. Spread garlic butter paste onto slices of agege bread and place them on a foiled or parchment lined baking sheet.

  4. Sprinkle slices of bread with Taste Tutor Seasoning 101 and optional shredded cheese.

  5. Sprinkle basil over the slices of bread.

  6. Toast in the oven for 10 minutes or until desired crunchiness is reached.

Tip:

Great dipped in Creole Rasta Pasta with Suya Shrimp or your favorite soup!
