Ever since I learned how to make this, I put it on everything!!

Yield: One 32 ounce jar

PREP IT!             

  • 2 cups Cabbage, fresh, shredded super thin

  • 1 large Carrot, fresh, peeled, cut into four chunks and thinly sliced (julienne)

  • 1 cup Bell peppers, mixed colors, fresh, cut in half and thinly sliced (julienne)

  • ½ large Red onion, fresh, thinly sliced (julienne)

  • ½ large Yellow onion, fresh, thinly sliced (julienne)

  • 2 stalks Scallion (green onion), fresh, thinly sliced

  • 4 large Scotch bonnet or Habanero peppers, fresh, minced

  • 4 cloves Garlic, fresh, minced

  • 1 teaspoon Taste Tutor Pepper Soup Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon Taste Tutor Seasoning 101

  • 16 whole Black peppercorns

  • 4 whole Cloves

  • 2 cups White distilled vinegar

  • 1 large Lime, fresh, zested and juiced

MAKE IT!

  1. In a large bowl, toss all the ingredients together except the vinegar and lime juice.

  2. In a 32oz mason jar, or heat safe container, pack in the seasoned vegetables

  3. In a small pot, bring the vinegar to a boil.

  4. Pour hot vinegar over the vegetables in the jar. Store uncovered in the refrigerator until cooled. Cover when cooled.

  5. Serve as a condiment with your favorite dishes.

Tip: Great with fish!

Store leftovers: in a covered container in the fridge for up to 1 month.
